How To Activate eSIM?

Follow the instructions below to install and activate your SkyMovo eSIM.

Installation Instructions

Choose how you would like to install your eSIM.

Android - Quick Installation

Step 1 - Setup

  1. Open your SkyMovo eSIM details on the phone you want to use.
  2. Tap the "Install eSIM" button.
  3. Approve the installation when your phone asks.
  4. Wait a moment while the eSIM is added.

Step 2 - Activation

  1. Follow the on-screen steps to finish activating the eSIM plan you installed.

Step 3 - Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> Connections -> SIM Manager and tap the eSIM you added.
  2. Give it a name, e.g. "SkyMovo", to tell it apart from your other SIMs.
  3. Select the eSIM as your Mobile Data SIM.
  4. Go to Connections -> Mobile Networks and turn on Data Roaming.

Android - QR Code Installation

Step 1 - QR Code Setup

  1. Go to Settings -> Connections -> SIM Manager.
  2. Tap "Add eSIM".
  3. Choose "Scan QR code from service provider".
  4. Scan the QR code from your SkyMovo order email, shown on another screen.

Step 2 - Activation

  1. Follow the on-screen steps to finish activating the eSIM plan you scanned.

Step 3 - Settings

  1. Tap "Mobile Networks" and turn on Data Roaming.
  2. Name the eSIM, e.g. "SkyMovo", so it's easy to recognise.
  3. Select the new eSIM as your Mobile Data SIM.

Android - Manual Installation

Step 1 - Manual Setup

  1. Go to Settings -> Connections -> SIM Manager.
  2. Tap "Add eSIM".
  3. Choose "Enter activation code".
  4. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your SkyMovo order email.

Step 2 - Activation

  1. Follow the on-screen steps to finish activating the eSIM plan you entered.

Step 3 - Settings

  1. Tap "Mobile Networks" and turn on Data Roaming.
  2. Name the eSIM, e.g. "SkyMovo", so it's easy to recognise.
  3. Select the new eSIM as your Mobile Data SIM.

  2. Data roaming is turned on for the SkyMovo eSIM.
  3. You are in a destination your plan covers.
  4. Turn airplane mode on and off, or restart your phone.
