What's an eSIM?

Every package Airalo offers includes an eSIM.

eSIM stands for “embedded SIM” — it’s like a digital SIM card. Just like physical SIMs, eSIMs allow devices like mobile phones, tablets, and even some laptops to connect to mobile networks.

By using eSIMs, Airalo can easily connect you to networks in your package’s location. When your package runs out or expires, you can top up that eSIM to stay connected.

Device compatibility

To use an eSIM, a device must meet the following conditions:

  • The device supports eSIMs.
  • The device is not carrier or network-locked.
  • The device is not jailbroken (iOS) or rooted (Android).

Our list is updated regularly, but not exhaustive — if you don’t see your device, check with the manufacturer to confirm it supports eSIMs.

Stay connected abroad

Access mobile networks, wherever you are

Airalo works with network providers around the world to keep people connected when they need international mobile coverage.

Avoid roaming charges

Skip out on the expensive bills

Most primary mobile plans put a premium on roaming. Airalo offers flexible packages so you can stay connected without breaking the bank.

Select a package

Every package includes an amount of data valid for a period of time — some packages have unlimited data, others include calls and texts.

Install and connect

When you’re ready, install your eSIM — installing takes a few minutes and requires internet connection.
